Payment account

Your payment account and its verification

On your own store, the buyer pays straight into YOUR payment account at Rebill. The sale money never passes through Etrovvo. That is why the account is opened by you, in your business name, and why Rebill — not Etrovvo — reviews and approves it. This page walks through every part of that path, plainly.

Applies to Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. The in-dashboard help assistant answers these questions too and brings you here.

1

Why the account has to be yours

Because it is the only way your sale money is yours from the first second. With the account in your name, the buyer pays you directly — Etrovvo does not receive, hold or forward that money.

  1. 1Your store checkout charges using the keys of YOUR Rebill account.
  2. 2The amount lands in your balance, in your account — there is no Etrovvo account in the middle.
  3. 3Because the account is yours, the signup and the verification are yours too: nobody can do them for you.
  4. 4This is about your own store. Orders placed through the Etrovvo marketplace keep working exactly as they do today.

💡 Etrovvo does not verify your identity and does not run KYC. Rebill reviews the documents and makes the decision.

2

Open your Rebill account

This is the first step, and it happens on Rebill’s site — not inside Etrovvo. Use your real business details: those are what the verification checks.

  1. 1Go to my.rebill.com/signup and create the account (or sign in, if you already have one).
  2. 2Register under the business name that will sell: that name is what shows on your buyer’s statement.
  3. 3Upload the documents Rebill asks for in the business verification (the KYB).
  4. 4The document list and the accepted entity types vary by country and are defined by Rebill.

💡 Already have a Rebill account? Don’t create a second one — go to the verification and then to the keys.

3

The verification (KYB) is Rebill’s — and so is the timing

KYB is the check Rebill runs on your business before the account can charge for real. It is a human review: people at Rebill look at your documents.

  1. 1You upload the documents in Rebill’s dashboard, and the review starts there.
  2. 2It is reviewed by people, not automatically — Rebill sets the timing, and Rebill is who tells you when the review is done.
  3. 3If something is missing, Rebill asks you for it, through their own channels.
  4. 4Etrovvo takes no part in that review, has no access to your documents, and cannot speed it up.

💡 We don’t promise an approval deadline: the timing is Rebill’s and varies by country and business type. Until the account is active, your store checkout cannot charge.

4

Make sure the account is production, not test

Rebill runs two environments: test (sandbox) and production. Only production charges real money — and a plain signup can leave you with the test one only.

  1. 1The production organization is provisioned from Rebill’s dashboard or by contacting their support — it does not come out of the plain signup on its own.
  2. 2If you can’t find the production environment in the dashboard, ask Rebill support: that is the official route.
  3. 3Each environment has its own keys. Copying the wrong one connects your store to the test environment.
  4. 4When you connect, Etrovvo shows which environment your key belongs to (Production or Test) — if it says Test, swap the key.

💡 If the badge in your Etrovvo dashboard says “Test”, your store won’t charge for real, even with an approved account.

5

Connect the keys in Etrovvo

Connecting means pasting two keys. That is what tells your store checkout to charge into your account — the step that ties the sale to your money.

  1. 1In Rebill, go to Developer Center → API Keys and create an API Key.
  2. 2Copy both keys: the public one (starts with pk_) and the secret one (starts with sk_).
  3. 3In Etrovvo, go to Settings → Payouts and paste them both.
  4. 4Etrovvo checks the key with Rebill and shows the account status: active, still in verification, or disabled.

💡 The secret key is stored encrypted and never shown back to you. If you rotate your keys at Rebill, paste the new ones here.

6

If Rebill declines — or takes a while

The decision is Rebill’s, and Etrovvo can neither reverse it nor answer for it. But you are not stuck: you can sort it out with whoever decides, and keep preparing the store meanwhile.

  1. 1Ask Rebill for the reason and what is missing: they are the only source on your review.
  2. 2Fix or complete the documents with Rebill and request the re-review there.
  3. 3Meanwhile your store can get ready: products, theme, shipping and address don’t depend on the verification.
  4. 4If your paperwork is already right and it still stalls, talk to our support — we don’t decide the review, but we help you organize what to present.

💡 Etrovvo does not guarantee approval and is not responsible for a Rebill refusal — the review, the criteria and the decision are theirs.
