Effective date: May 28, 2026 Version 1.0 Language: English
These Marketplace Conditions explain how buying and selling works on the Etrovvo marketplace at etrovvo.com. They complement our Terms of Service (etrovvo.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (etrovvo.com/privacy). Where these Conditions and the Terms of Service differ on a marketplace-specific point, these Conditions control for that point.
1. What the Etrovvo marketplace is
The Etrovvo marketplace is a shared storefront where independent stores ("vendors" or "sellers") list their products and consumers ("buyers") discover and buy them in a single checkout. Each product is sold by the vendor that lists it; Etrovvo provides the technology, the checkout, the payment collection, and the buyer-protection framework described below.
For marketplace orders, Etrovvo acts as the merchant of record: Etrovvo collects the full payment from the buyer, retains its marketplace fee, and disburses the remaining amount to the vendor under the payout rules in Section 9. This is different from a vendor's own independent store (a "single store"), where the vendor is the merchant of record and handles its own refunds directly — see Section 11.
2. Vendors and how orders are grouped
Any approved store on Etrovvo may opt in to the marketplace. When a buyer's cart contains products from more than one vendor, the order is automatically split into one sub-order per vendor. Each vendor fulfils, ships, and is responsible for the items it sold. A single cart can only contain vendors from the same country, so currency, shipping, and tax are unambiguous.
3. Prices, currency, and taxes
Prices are set by each vendor and shown on the product page and at checkout before you pay. The currency is the vendor's local currency. Any applicable taxes (for example, US/Canada sales tax where required) and shipping are calculated and shown in the order summary before payment. You always see the full total before confirming.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers. Depending on the vendor's country, Etrovvo uses Stripe (North America), Rapyd (Latin America and Europe), or another regional processor. Etrovvo does not store full card numbers. Available payment methods (card, and where supported local methods such as Pix or boleto) are shown at checkout.
5. Marketplace fees
Buyers do not pay any Etrovvo marketplace fee — you pay only the product price, shipping, and any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
Vendors pay a marketplace commission plus the payment processor's fee. The commission depends on the vendor's Etrovvo plan and is disclosed to the vendor before they list and on every order in their dashboard. Current plan pricing is published at etrovvo.com/pricing. The processor fee is the amount charged by Stripe, Rapyd, or the applicable provider for that transaction and is always deducted from the vendor's payout.
6. Shipping and delivery
Vendors ship through carriers integrated with Etrovvo. Shipping options, prices, and an estimated delivery window are shown at checkout. The Etrovvo marketplace offers home delivery only — we do not offer carrier branch/agency pickup as a delivery option. Once a label is generated you receive tracking, and delivery is confirmed automatically through the carrier. Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary.
7. Returns
Every marketplace purchase includes a 14-day return window. The window starts when the carrier confirms delivery of your order. Within those 14 days you may request a return for an eligible item, subject to the item being in returnable condition and to applicable consumer-protection law in your country (which may grant you additional rights).
To start a return, open the order in your Etrovvo account and choose "Request return", or contact the vendor through the order. The vendor reviews the request, and where approved, provides return instructions. Some categories (for example perishable, personalized, or hygiene-sensitive goods) may be non-returnable where the law allows; this is disclosed on the product page.
8. Refunds and buyer protection
Because Etrovvo holds the vendor's funds during the 14-day return window (Section 9), refunds on marketplace orders are handled directly by Etrovvo when a return is approved within that window — you do not have to wait for the vendor to forward money, and the refund is returned to your original payment method.
A refund made within the window does not require any transfer to be reversed, because the vendor had not yet been paid out. If a return is opened, the vendor's payout for that order is paused until the return is resolved. Refund timing to your bank or card depends on your payment provider, typically a few business days after approval.
9. How and when vendors are paid (marketplace)
To make returns and refunds smooth for buyers, Etrovvo holds each vendor's share of a marketplace order for 14 days after delivery is confirmed (the "return window"). After the window closes — and only if no return is open for that order — Etrovvo automatically releases the payout to the vendor's registered bank account, minus the marketplace commission and the payment processor fee.
If delivery is never confirmed by the carrier, the hold is capped so funds are not held indefinitely, and the payout is released after a maximum holding period measured from the payment date. If a vendor's bank details are incorrect, the payout fails and the vendor is notified to correct them; once corrected, the transfer is retried automatically.
10. Cancellations
Before an order ships, a buyer may request a cancellation through the order; if the vendor has not yet shipped, the order can be cancelled and fully refunded. After shipping, the return process in Section 7 applies.
11. Marketplace orders vs a vendor's own store
It is important to understand the difference:
Marketplace orders (bought at etrovvo.com): Etrovvo is the merchant of record, mediates returns, holds vendor funds for the 14-day window, and processes approved refunds as described above.
A vendor's own independent store (the store's own branded site): the vendor is the merchant of record and is solely responsible for its own returns, refunds, and customer service under its own published policy. The 14-day Etrovvo hold and Etrovvo-mediated refunds in Sections 8–9 apply to marketplace orders only.
12. Prohibited items and acceptable use
Vendors may only sell lawful goods permitted under our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy and under the rules of our payment partners (including Stripe and Rapyd). Listings that violate these rules are removed and may result in account suspension.
13. Disputes and contact
If something goes wrong with a marketplace order, first open the order and contact the vendor or request a return. If you cannot resolve it, contact Etrovvo support and we will help mediate.

Nothing in these Conditions limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country.
14. Data and privacy
Information you provide at checkout (such as your shipping address and contact details) is shared with the vendor that sold your item so they can fulfil and support your order. See our Privacy Policy at etrovvo.com/privacy for how we handle personal data.
15. Changes to these Conditions
We may update these Marketplace Conditions as the product and applicable law evolve. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of the marketplace after an update means you accept the updated Conditions.
